Joyce Aboussie

Joyce Aboussie is the CEO of Aboussie & Associates. In 1986, she established Telephone Contact Incorporated, a market research and strategic consulting firm.

Telephone Contact Inc. and Aboussie & Associates have represented Fortune 500 companies, cultural and entertainment institutions, national polling firms, universities, national corporations, and labor organizations.

Aboussie previously served as Chairperson of ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Board of Directors. She was the first female Chairperson to be elected and has been on the board since 1983, when she was the youngest person ever to be asked to join the National Board of Directors and Governors. Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude is now the largest health care charity in the nation.

Known as an entrepreneur and trailblazer, Joyce Aboussie has a storied and successful career in political strategy and campaign management. Notably, she was National Political Director for Congressman Dick Gephardt, and worked with Congressman Gephardt at the top of his political organization for nearly 30 years. She also served as Missouri Transition Director for President-Elect Clinton in 1992 and has since worked on the National Finance boards of Democratic Presidential Nominees Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris.

Aboussie has been honored on numerous occasions by esteemed local publications; St. Louis Magazine, St. Louis Business Journal, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch have all independently recognized her as a highly-influential member of the Missouri community. Both the Magazine and Business Journal named Aboussie as one of “40 People Under 40” who make a difference in St. Louis, while the Post-Dispatch included her among their “25 Most Influential St. Louisans.” In 2014, her alma mater, Saint Louis University, elected Aboussie to the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.
